Poppy Update

Since it took me nearly half an hour to get two measly rows of ribbing done and then still yet to cast off all with a toddler who wasn’t impressed that I was knitting, the little hat is finished. It’s really the sweetest of little things.

Poppy Beanie

A little more info for the beanie. The yarn that I used was Moda Vera Isabella. It is 76% Acrylic, 24% Polyester and comes in 50 gram balls. You get about 69 meters out of the ball. It’s also cold machine washable and feels lovely to the touch. Nice and silky. Moda Vera recommends using 7mm needles with it but I happily used 4mm (size 6) and 3.5mm (size 4) needles.
Would I knit this again? Sure! But unless I’m asked by someone I wont be. Ollie’s baby bella has one for herself already and the new one is for our new baby girl when she turns up.
