Hats for Cambodia

We had a family lunch yesterday afternoon and I wore my shoulderette that I knitted. My mother in law was impressed and asked me if I knew of any patterns for baby beanies that I could knit up. I said sure but why would you need baby beanies needed? Answer was, she is going on her annual trip to Cambodia with her Church group to do volunteer work and said it would be great if she could take some beanies to donate. Of course I said yes, how could I not.

I’ve got until June to make as many as I can for her to take over. With having a young baby myself, I can only knit at night time and thats inbetween doing everything else so I reckon each hat will take me at least a couple of nights to get done. Here is the first one.

The pattern that I have used is a great free pattern from Carissa Knits Blog. You can find the pattern here as well as on Ravelry here
