Blocked and wrapped

So the baby blanket for Campbell Jon has been washed, blocked and ready to be sent off today. I am so very happy with how it turned out. The lace pattern is easy to remember after doing a few repeats. There were a few times that I had to frog a couple of lines due to knitting late at night and dropping or forgetting to do a yarn over. Instead of using straight needles for this project, I used a circular needle so the blanket wouldn’t be hard to handle and all bunched up.

I’ve used 100% Australian wool on this blanket so it will be lovely and snuggly in winter time. Looking forward to making another one but I’m already onto something else at the moment for another impending newborn. Can’t wait to share this one either!
